Sadaqah Kiosk respects the privacy of customers, contact persons and other individuals whose personal data we process. In this Privacy Policy, we explain which personal data we process, why we do so and how we handle this data.

1. Who are we?

Sadaqah Kiosk is a trading name of Haddo Solutions, a sole proprietorship.

Sadaqah Kiosk is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this Privacy Policy.

6. Donation Data from the Sadaqah Kiosk

The Sadaqah Kiosk works with the masjid's or organisation's own SumUp account.

Sadaqah Kiosk does not receive personal data of donors from SumUp. The Kiosk is therefore not intended to record the identity of donors.

Depending on the software and configuration used, the Kiosk may record data such as:

This data may be used for statistics, maintenance, resolving technical problems, product improvement and marketing.

We do not publish data that could link individual donors or individual donations to a specific person. We also do not publish donation figures for individual masjids or organisations.

Aggregated figures, such as the total amount donated across all Kiosks combined, may be used or published.

7. Retention Period

We do not retain personal data for longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a statutory retention obligation requires a longer retention period.

Data forming part of our financial administration, such as order and invoice data, are retained for seven years. This follows from the statutory tax retention obligation.

Applications that do not result in an order are not retained for longer than necessary to process the application and answer any follow-up questions.

When personal data are no longer required, they are deleted or anonymised, unless there is a legal or other valid reason to retain them.

8. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access and other forms of unlawful processing.

Access to personal data is restricted to persons and services that require the data to perform their work.

11. Cookies, Hosting and Website Statistics

The Sadaqah Kiosk website does not place cookies. We do not use cookies that collect personal data, track visitors or create profiles. There is therefore no need for a cookie banner.

Our website is hosted by Cloudflare. To provide the website and protect it against misuse, Cloudflare processes technical data relating to each visit, including the IP address, the requested web address, the time and information about the browser used.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for visitor statistics. This service measures, among other things, the number of page views, the visitor's country of origin, the referring website and general performance data. Cloudflare Web Analytics operates without cookies, without recognising individual visitors across multiple websites and without creating a profile. We only receive aggregated statistics and therefore cannot identify individual visitors using this data.

If this changes in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated and any required consent will be requested.

12. Changes

Sadaqah Kiosk may amend this Privacy Policy when our services, data processing activities or legal obligations change.
