What is a Sadaqah Kiosk?
The Sadaqah Kiosk is a freestanding donation stand for masjids and Islamic organisations. Visitors can easily make contactless donations using their debit card or phone.
How does the Sadaqah Kiosk work?
The kiosk is linked to the organisation’s own SumUp account. A visitor chooses an amount and then pays contactlessly. Donations are processed through the organisation’s own SumUp account.
Do we need Wi-Fi?
Yes, the standard version works via Wi-Fi. The kiosk should therefore be placed in a location with a stable Wi-Fi connection. If Wi-Fi is not available, the kiosk can be equipped with mobile internet.
Are there monthly fees?
There are no monthly fees for the Sadaqah Kiosk itself. SumUp charges a 1.49% transaction fee per transaction. We do not charge any additional transaction fees.
Can we customise the kiosk to match our own branding?
Yes. The kiosk can be customised with your own design and logo to match the branding of your masjid or organisation.
Can we gift a Sadaqah Kiosk to a masjid?
Yes. A kiosk can also be donated to a masjid as sadaqah jariyah. This creates a permanent opportunity for visitors to make donations easily.
How much does a Sadaqah Kiosk cost?
A Sadaqah Kiosk is available from €550. Packages for two or three kiosks are also available. A discount is possible when ordering multiple kiosks.
Who receives the money donated through the kiosk?
The kiosk works with the masjid’s or organisation’s own SumUp account. Donations are therefore processed through their own account.
What if the kiosk or one of its devices stops working?
The tablet and payment terminal come with a standard 2-year manufacturer’s warranty. Damage caused by, for example, a fall, misuse or inadequate maintenance is not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty and, if necessary, must be repaired or replaced at the customer’s own expense.
How long does delivery take?
The average delivery time is approximately 2 weeks. After placing the order, we will contact you to arrange a delivery appointment.
What should I do if there is a technical issue?
First, check that the internet connection and Bluetooth are working properly and that the kiosk is connected to mains power. If this does not resolve the issue, please contact us at sadaqahkiosk@gmail.com.
Can I return the kiosk?
Yes, returns are possible. Due to the custom design, the full purchase price will not be refunded in the event of a return. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
